1 Year Olds

Supporting your child’s transition from infancy to toddlerhood.

Working with your family, our early childhood staff helps ease your little one into toddlerhood through scheduled living and learning. Our one year olds are provided with many opportunities to exercise their newly acquired ability to walk. Our teachers promote exploration by providing new experiences that stimulate your child’s senses such as painting, exploring textures with sensory tables (sand, water, shaving cream and playdough), planting seeds and tumble time. Colors, shapes, numbers and alphabet are introduced.
